Since 2018, Bridgette has been working in the book publishing industry. She earned a publishing certificate from the Toronto Metropolitan University and completed an internship at McClelland & Stewart, the prestigious literary imprint of Penguin Random House Canada. Before working in publishing, she studied English literature at the University of Hong Kong and UCLA; got an M.A. at Durham University (UK); and held enriching jobs in the arts & entertainment, education, and legal industries.

In 2019, she started working at Westwood Creative Artists as an International Rights Associate, representing the agency's clients to publishers all around the world and helping books get published in the UK and Australia, and into multiple languages. Simultaneously, with two senior agents, she co-represented clients to US and Canadian publishers in the adult fiction and children's book categories.

As of 2021, she's been the sole agent of a growing client list and shifted her focus to the US and Canadian markets, representing additional categories, including adult non-fiction, middle grade, and YA fiction. She is proud to have negotiated multi-book contracts for her clients and play a role in ushering award-nominated books into the world.

In addition to being a literary agent, she is the Contracts Associate of the agency and a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Literary Agents.
